With afro back beats, R&B and funk-flair, The Ashlee Elmore Jazz Quintet pushes boundaries and completely turns The Great American Songbook's beloved jazz standards on their head. With a rhythm section coming from legendary drummer Ricardo Gonzáles and bassist-savant Jordan Hehl, led by daring and edgy synth and keyboards from Tim Shadley, Bishop Marsh rounds out the quintet with killer trumpet lines, all done in an improvisatory fashion.
